Algade Ceramics Trail

Skælskør has a very special Ceramics Trail. Set into the paving along Skælskør’s main street, you will find beautiful and unique cobblestones, each created by skilled and renowned ceramists who have participated in the town’s Keramikfestival. Each year in connection with the annual Keramikfestival, a number of artists are selected to design the cobblestones and thus leave their distinctive mark on Algade. So who made all the small cobblestones?

The Keramikfestival’s visitors did! As a gift to the people from Keramikfestival to Skælskør, in the years 2018–2021 it was possible to decorate your very own lovely cobblestone at Keramikfestival. Stones that now adorn streets and squares in Skælskør, as a colourful route marking from one ceramics workshop to the next.
